Tell us about your current role at ardent?
I have been lucky as I have had the chance to play different roles at ardent in my 5 years tenure which consist of Sr. software Developer, Team Leader and Project Leader. Currently I am working as Project Leader for a leading media business. My role involves getting requirement from clients, make solution designs and technical specification documents, estimate the requirement and prepare project/build plan. For each build I have responsibility of execute the plan with development team and QA team it involves build discussion with team, development, deployment and quality assurance.
How do you empower ardent clients and partners to achieve their full potential?
Client’s satisfaction is our aim so we always deliver the requirement on time and with quality. Getting the correct requirement and understand the requirement is a key element to deliver a cutting-edge product to our clients. In order for this to be a success, conduct daily catch up meetings with our clients and send our understandings to clients for every requirement and confirm the changes with them. Clients also usually have time based commitment to their clients so we always deliver requirement on or before time as per the client’s suggestion. Since we are working on the product, we always help our clients in both support and enhancements. We are also supporting our client for social (twitter and Facebook) and third party services integration in our application.
How do you encourage your colleagues at ardent to achieve their full potential?
If you have to become successful in any task and Like M.S. Dhoni says if you want the habits of winning, team work is very important. We always work as team for every build. We always have task plan ready for each of team member according to their expertise so they are clear about their task aim. We have different expertise in team, we do build discussion for each build and get good ideas and suggestion from my team. All my colleagues are very supportive if any one stuck others are always ready to help him. We encourage our team for depth understating about project, domain and learning of new technologies.
What’s been your biggest achievement at ardent?
My one of the biggest achievement in ardent is successful execution of Remote Recoding project. We had lot of challenges for this project like communication with different partners and their response time, deal with different technologies, work on different host for DVB stream, booking data, TSBroadcaster their connectivity and security. We have taken over this long overdue project and accept these challenges and successfully executed this project with onsite UAT. We had good onsite experience for UAT and get client appreciation. I am thank full to my entire team for this achievement, it cannot be possible without their support.
